What we do:

Wildlife & Woodland Maintenance
We carry out ongoing conservation work to protect habitats, maintain paths, and support the natural development of the woodland.

Scheduled Work Parties
Several times a year, volunteers meet to carry out planned maintenance and conservation work within the woodland.

Community Fundraising
Twice a year, we help set up the stalls at Kinross Market to raise funds for the woodland’s upkeep and future improvements.

 

Fossoway Gathering
We host a stall at the annual Fossoway Gathering to share information about the woodland and connect with the local community.

What We Don’t Do

Penney’s Wood is a small, volunteer-run charity. We do not provide staffed facilities, commercial events, or full-time site management. The woodland remains a natural space, maintained by community effort.
